If you’re interested in exploring the world of finance, join the national Financial Management Association (FMA). This organization is geared toward helping finance students like you transition from student to professional.
Through the Creighton chapter, you’ll have opportunities to host—and listen to—professional speakers, tour corporations and businesses, attend company shareholder meetings, and learn about finance internship and career opportunities.
You’ll also get to interact with other finance students, your faculty. You can network with local professionals from Fortune 500 companies. You’ll also do fundraising and get involved in community service.
If you’re elected to one of the FMA’s executive positions, you’ll have the opportunity to attend the FMA Finance Leaders’ Conference, held annually in either New York City or Chicago. This two-day event features speakers, tours of local businesses, and the chance to interact with students from around the world.
If you’re interested in sharpening your professional skills, boosting your resume, and preparing yourself for the professional business world, complete this online application to join FMA.
