If you’re looking for ways outside of the classroom to advance your professional accounting skills, become a member of Creighton University’s nationally recognized chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP).
Founded in 1919, this international honor organization for financial information students and professionals has over 300 college and university chapters and more than 300,000 members worldwide.
BAP’s main objective is to encourage and recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.
Each year, the Creighton chapter organizes numerous professional and service events. You’ll have opportunities to network with accounting professionals at local, regional and national CPA firms, as well as with corporate accounting officers, internal auditors and others in the profession.
Chapter meetings cover such relevant topics as how to conduct interviews, ways to detect fraud, and the proper use of social media. You can also get involved in individual and group service opportunities.
If you want to refine your professional skills, boost your resume, and prepare yourself for future accounting internship and career opportunities, join BAP. To be eligible, you must meet membership requirements.
