    Eligibility

We accept all ECFMG pathways for Step 2 CS.

If the applicant does not meet the minimum criteria, the application may be rejected.

    Selection

    1. The pathology department residents and faculty will select from among eligible applicants and will rank them based on each applicant’s communication skills, professionalism, and academic credentials without regard to race, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
    2. All 1st year applicants will be selected through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).
    3. All candidates must submit a complete application, including necessary supporting documents required through ERAS, and must interview with departmental residents and faculty. All applicants for 1st year positions must submit an application through ERAS.
    4. Applicants are ranked numerically based on their interview.  A review of all candidate applications is performed by the Program Director, Chief Resident, Coordinator, and committee members.  At that time, we determine who to rank and in what order.  The results of the rank list are kept confidential.
