Must be within three (3) years from medical school graduation including two (2) years of clinical experience with a minimum of six (6) months clinical experience in the US (hands-on experience preferred but not required)
To be considered for selection, eligible applicants must be either a US citizen, seeking a J-1 Visa, or have permanent resident status (green card). Our program only accepts J-1 ECFMG certified Visa.
Process and Communication
Applicants should apply through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS)
Applications are screened by our Selection Committee utilizing a holistic review
We use a multi-criteria-based selection process and therefore do not provide minimum USMLE/equivalent score requirements
Invitation for interview will be sent to the applicant through Thalamus
Date selection process:
Self-scheduling dates will be locked seven (7) days prior to scheduled interview date
Our program will not be using waitlist scheduling so you will not see this option
Applicant will receive email communication through Thalamus including details of your virtual interview day
What is Your Interview Day Like?
Your interview will be done virtually using the Thalamus virtual interview platform
A pre-interview open house with our Resident Team of the Day using the Gather app will be held the evening prior to your scheduled interview day
Your interview day will be 2.5 hours consisting of:
Program Director welcome and introduction
Two (2) faculty interviews
Breakout sessions with the R3 Recruitment Champion on Life as a Resident
Resident Team of the Day round table sessions
Formal conclusion with the R3 Recruitment Champion
