Study Groups

Study groups are a great way to enhance your learning. It is recommended that no more than 6 people be part of a study group in order to minimize distractions and maximize the benefits of your study group. SSS offers incentives to groups that meet the requirements for our Registered Study Groups. Even if you don't meet those requirements, we still encourage you to set time aside to study with your peers and learn from each other.

Why register a study group?

  • Reserve an SSS study room for your study sessions
  • Receive tips on effective group studying
  • Win prizes based on your group?s level of activity!
    • 3 Study Sessions Held: Swag bag of study materials (must register before September 20th)
    • Top 2 Groups with the Most Study Sessions: Pizza party for your final review session
    • Best Group Name: Mystery Prize

To Become a Registered Study Group You Must:

  • Hold study sessions for a specific class (ex. ACC 201)
  • Have at 3-6 SSS students in your group
  • Nominate a group leader
  • Plan to meet at least 1 hours/week
  • Register your group
