Creighton University students, faculty and staff can use their Creighton JayCard ID to ride any Metro Transit or ORBT bus in Omaha any time for free. Called JayPass, this is a unique collaboration between Creighton and Metro Transit that lets our students, staff and faculty use the public bus system to get to campus or just move around Omaha.
The JayPass is an economical and sustainable option for traveling to and from Creighton’s Omaha campus, and other points in the metro area, plus it saves you the inconvenience of searching for a parking stall on or around campus.
If you are a Creighton student actively taking classes, or a current faculty of staff member, your JayCard is already activated as your JayPass. Just get on the bus, swipe your card in the terminal labeled UMO and ride.
JayPass privileges are only granted to the Creighton student, faculty or staff member pictured on the JayCard ID.
Whether you live near campus or have a longer commute, there’s a way to use the bus to get to campus. There are multiple convenient bus stops that intersect with or are within a few blocks of Creighton's Omaha campus, including routes 4, 13, 18, 24 and 30.
Take a look at the latest routes to plan your trip or explore MyRide OMA.
With MyRide OMA, you can track your bus in real time, plan trips and check any news/alerts about your routes or service. You can even receive notifications about your specific routes or bus stops. If you prefer not to download an app, it can be used through a web browser or through SMS alerts.
