Family medicine is at the cutting edge of the current transformation of the American medical system. As we move forward in a new era of medical advances, family medicine is positioned to be the bedrock of an innovative and exciting practice era.
At Creighton Family Medicine, we take pride in training family medicine residents to practice in the new era of healthcare. Our residency clinic is a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) level three NCQ-certified practice clinic. We practice global medicine at home, serving diverse cultures, including patients from areas such as Southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our patients are cared for across the lifespan with our FM/OB Fellowship Program, robust geriatrics curriculum and pediatrics exposure. Faculty expertise includes a broad array of skills allowing for training residents in primary care management of infectious disease such as HIV and HCV as well as obstetrical ultrasound.
Family medicine at Creighton leads the culture of improving patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, patient access and physician engagement by creating a home to connect with our patients and our interprofessional healthcare team. At Creighton you will find within yourself the ability to actualize the calling of medicine begun within yourself so long ago!
