Welcome to the Department of Radiology at the Creighton University School of Medicine and CHI Health!

CHI Health, one of Omaha’s premier medical centers and one of the largest healthcare providers in Nebraska, offers a diverse array of patients for practice of Radiology. Currently, the Department provides Radiology services to all campuses of CHI Health. The Department is recognized for its focus on providing exemplary clinical care, as well as its innovations in Radiology education and research.

Our subspecialty trained faculty are committed to education and participate in the teaching of basic science curriculum of the Creighton University School of Medicine, as well as M3 and M4 medical student elective rotations. We also provide Radiology education to the students in the Physician Assistant Program of the Creighton University School of Medicine. Training of Radiology residents is considered a critical responsibility, and the residency program is continually improved to meet or exceed the ACGME requirements. We offer rich and diverse clinical experiences to our residents in various subspecialty areas, an outstanding didactic curriculum, faculty mentoring, and research opportunities to educate residents. The program ensures resident supervision and promotes graded authority and responsibility with advancement. The mission of the Program is to train residents to become expert providers of cost-effective patient care while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

The Department has committed time and resources to patient care, education, and a comprehensive quality assurance program for the continual improvement of procedures and processes that impact our patients daily. I am extremely proud of the outstanding talent within our Department whose efforts continue to keep patients and learners at the forefront of medicine.
