About the Highlander Community
Creighton University is a tenant in the Highlander Accelerator. This community enrichment center is a part of the revitalization project occurring along 30th Street between Hamilton and Lake Streets in North Omaha hosted by the community quarterback, 75 North.
The Highlander community is based on the Purpose Built Communities Model created after successful transformation of the East Lake neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia. This holistic model works to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through mixed-income housing, cradle-to-college education, and community wellness.
About the Highlander Space
Our space in the Highlander Accelerator encompasses 4,000 square feet of flexible learning space, including a classroom, conference room and individual meeting rooms.
