The Interprofessional Education Passport consists of student learning activities focused on meeting the core competencies for interprofessional collaborative practice and each profession’s interprofessional education accreditation requirements.
Interprofessional education is defined as “when students from two or more professions learn about, from, and with each other to enable effective collaboration and improve health outcomes” (WHO, 2010).

The process for submitting an activity for IPE Passport consideration begins with the faculty facilitator completing CED 400. To complete this course, please email IPEPassport@creighton.edu and request access to the course. Following the completion of this course, applicants will fill out this application, which provides the Curriculum Committee with a comprehensive look at the components of the proposed activity. A few key components of the activity include a detailed look at how students will learn from and with one another, as well as a plan for student recruitment and activity sustainability. The committee then reviews the application, invites the applicant to attend a Curriculum Committee meeting to conduct a Q&A session. The committee then votes to determine whether the activity is appropriate to be an interprofessional learning experience.
