Department of Medical Education

Our Mission and Vision

The Department of Medical Education at Creighton University is the home to a community of individuals whose primary focus is to develop and promote teaching excellence within the health sciences. The department serves a broad range of learners including medical, physician assistant and graduate students. Our faculty have been recognized with prominent teaching awards and are active leaders in many programs, serving as Assistant Deans, Component and Course Directors, and Learning Specialists.

As a department, we are committed to achieving our mission by creating an environment for faculty, staff and students that fosters the development of intellectual rigor, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving. Our goal is to transform our students into intelligent, thoughtful and humane health-care workers committed to improving the healthcare of our society.
