The Department of Clinical Research and Public Health within Creighton’s College of Medicine is focused on furthering research and improving the health of the public.
Though there are two divisions—the Division of Public Health and the Division of Clinical Research—there’s a natural connection between the two. Much of Creighton’s clinical research is infused with a focus on disparities. Additionally, the talents necessary in clinical research and inquiry into public health needs and how to address them are similar. The two divisions work together to move ideas forward.
Creighton faculty members conduct research to enhance teaching, to contribute to the betterment of society and to discover new knowledge. Faculty and staff stimulate critical and creative thinking and provide ethical perspectives for dealing with an increasingly complex world.
