Mission Statement

Our mission in the Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division at Creighton University School of Medicine is to provide outstanding medical care for patients with pulmonary diseases and patients in the intensive care unit, in the most efficient, compassionate, and cost-effective way.  This should take place in a pleasant environment enriched by teaching and research.

Clinical Services

The Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Division of Creighton University (CU) School of Medicine is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and sleep disorders. Creighton’s team of board certified physicians provide comprehensive care to patients with all types of respiratory conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis, respiratory infections, and sleep disorders. 

Our physicians provide pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine services at all of the CHI Health medical centers in the Omaha and Council Bluffs areas, as well as at the Omaha Veterans Administration Medical Center (OVAMC). Our physicians provide outpatient pulmonary and sleep consultation services at all of the CHI Health campuses in Omaha, including Creighton University Medical Center, and at OVAMC. Our Division operates multiple sleep labs throughout the region within the CHI Health network and OVAMC, all of which are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
