Discussion seminars in which students engage in a Socratic discussion format, to exchange and explore ideas based on a set of selected readings (ca. 150 pages). Students must apply to participate. Readings are distributed roughly one month before the event.

The MCEI - Faculty Brown Bag Seminar is a research-seminar series for faculty from across campus. The goal of the seminar is to facilitate an active conversation about research among Creighton faculty, and to promote opportunities for collaboration and co-authorship, especially within the Heider College of Business.

University Research Day - is an event organized by the University. Students participating in a MCEI Research program are encouraged to present a poster to show their research advances.

Public Forum Spring 2025: "The Future of Open Inquiry Online and on Campus"

For the Public Forum 2025, we are ready to receive a panel of experts to talk about this interesting topic. Inspired in part by the piece “Curiosity U,” by Dr. John Tomasi, from Brown University, who will also be on the Panel. Panelists will try to answer this question: "In an age of polarization and misinformation, having meaningful discussions is hard. But the pursuit of truth and justice requires that we engage in inquiry. How can we foster a culture of open inquiry to pursue truth and justice?"
