Living on campus is an ideal way to immerse yourself in student life at Creighton. You will enhance your educational experience—and make friendships that will last a lifetime. See below for information about the housing process, requirements and more.
Freshman and sophomore students are required to live on campus unless approved to commute from their homes in the immediate Omaha area. To help you build community, make lifelong friendships and receive the support you need for success, you’ll be living with other first-year students—either on a floor or in one of our first-year freshman residence halls. Three out of our eight residence halls are typically designated for freshmen: Deglman, Swanson and Graves.
Take a look at our Move-In Checklist to make sure you bring the essentials. We've also noted what's already included in your room and the items you should not bring to campus.
The Residential Life and Housing Office makes every effort to give students the preferences marked on their housing application. Students desiring to live together must both request each other on their housing applications.
