Your Creighton University School of Law education is an investment. In yourself. In your future. To pay for your education, Creighton School of Law will help you secure financial aid, including merit-based scholarships, and federal student loans, such as the Stafford and Grad-Plus loans.
All enrolled JD candidates are eligible for scholarships. When you apply to Creighton University School of Law, you’re automatically considered for applicable law school scholarships. When you receive your acceptance letter from Creighton School of Law, you’ll also be notified of any scholarship awards. You can find a list of scholarships on the Financial Aid website.
The first step to securing financial aid is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may apply after January 1 prior to the August in which you plan to enter Creighton School of Law. Please use Creighton’s FAFSA School Code 002542 and designate that a report be sent to Creighton. Once we’ve received the report and notice of your acceptance to Creighton School of Law, the Financial Aid Office will send you an award letter, indicating scholarships granted and the amount of loan assistance you can apply to receive. You will then apply directly for loans.
In order to be considered for financial aid for the 2024 summer term, students must complete a 2024 - 2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to the FAFSA, students will need to complete a Creighton University Summer Financial Aid Application by April 15.
