Deadlines and Eligibility

Creighton Timelines & Deadlines:

Fall Semester/Academic Year Programs Abroad:
- Applications open on Jays Abroad Portal: Dec 15
- Application deadline on Jays Abroad Portal: Feb 15
Spring Semester Programs Abroad:
- Applications open on Jays Abroad Portal: May 15
- Application deadline on Jays Abroad Portal: Sept 15
Summer Programs Abroad:
- Applications open on Jays Abroad Portal: varies by program
- Application deadline: varies by program
Graduation Rotation Deadline: 2 months prior to departure

Applicants must be a full time, degree-seeking student
Eligibility begins the summer after first full year at Creighton
Good academic standing and academic advisor approval
2.5 GPA minimum (some programs have higher requirements)
Students must be in good disciplinary standing with one clear semester between any disciplinary probation and submitting your application to study abroad. Students on academic or disciplinary probation are not approved to study abroad.
All application items must be submitted prior to Creighton deadlines
Students must have completed an advising meeting with a member of the GEO Study Abroad team
