Elizabeth N. Traynor, MD

Assistant Professor

Born and raised in Milwaukee WI area.  Started undergraduate and medical school at University of Wisconsin in Madison Wisconsin and finished medical degree at Boston University School of Medicaine at age 26.  Did 3 years with USAF in general practice before completing Neurology Residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. After this worked in General Neurology in California in Military Hospital, in a large HMO setting and finally in private practice until 2016.  Relocated to Wisconsin and mainly worked at a large Tertiary Medical Center in Milwaukee Wisconsin for 6 years. Dr. Traynor is now enjoying practice as a Teching Neuro Hospitalist at Creighton University via CHI and Commonspirit.

Teaching Interests

  • Dr. Traynor has enjoyed seeing complex Hospitalized and Non Hospitalized patients with a wide array of conditions, including Transplant Patients, LVAD patients, and a large experience with Stroke patients and other associated Vascular Diseases.
