Luke Palacio is an Instructor in the Department of Paramedicine, serving as Faculty and Lab & Simulation Coordinator. Nearing completion of a Master’s in Health Professions Teaching and Technology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and having completed a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services from Creighton University, he brings extensive expertise in paramedicine, simulation-based education, and critical care. His research interests focus on enhancing clinical education through high-fidelity simulation and optimizing training methodologies for emergency and critical care providers. Previously, he served as a Simulation Educator & PICU Paramedic at Children’s Nebraska, leading training programs for interdisciplinary teams. Passionate about advancing paramedic education, Luke integrates innovative simulation strategies to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and hands-on clinical practice. His ongoing scholarly projects explore best practices in simulation debriefing and faculty development, shaping the future of emergency medical training.
