Kelly has been a board-certified specialist in pediatric physical therapy since 2002. Her patients have ranged in age from premature infants to young adults in schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics over the last 22 years. Kelly is a credentialed clinical instructor and residency mentor whose passion is to encourage student and resident development and by doing so, foster optimum care for children and their families. Kelly earned her APTA Academy of Aquatic Physical Therapy Clinical Competency Certificate in 2020, the only certificate program for physical therapists who practice in aquatics. Kelly has also held a wound management specialty certification since 2014. She is interested in wound management for children who have sustained traumatic, surgical, and infectious wounds. She teaches coursework in the entry level PT program at Creighton on integumentary physical therapy content. Kelly also serves as the Lead Physical Therapists for Creighton Pediatric Therapy.
Kelly’s background includes competition and instruction in gymnastics and diving. She also helped with on-field injury prevention and management for her daughter’s club softball team over nine years and supports her son in his ongoing competitive tennis endeavors.
