Dr. Jacinto Manon is an (ABNS) board certified neurological surgeon, from Santo Domingo, DR. Dr. Manon embarked on his medical school journey at the Ibero-American University of Santo Domingo. Following graduation, he entered a rigorous general surgery training program at the Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital and the New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital culminating two years of general surgery training. His devoted passion for neurological surgery initially led him to pursue neurosurgical training at the University of Colorado, which he ultimately completed at the West Virginia University in Morgantown. Dr. Manon further honed his expertise by undertaking a complex and reconstructive spinal fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Upon completing fellowship in 2013, he commenced private practice neurological surgery in Colorado at several Level 1 Trauma Centers for six years procuring an extensive clinical acumen in a vast of spinal and brain conditions. Dr. Manon’s career path continued to flourish as he continued practicing in Miami and Texas before joining CHI-Creighton University as an assistant professor in 2024 to focus on academic neurosurgery. His areas of interest encompass a wide spectrum of spinal disorders, neurotrauma, brain tumors, oncology, and functional neurosurgery. Committed to excellence, Dr. Manon aims to address all neurological surgical and non-surgical conditions using the most current updated neurosurgical guidelines. He is an active fellow of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys auto sports, golfing, outdoor activities, and traveling, to balance a dynamic career with diverse personal interests.
