Dr. Douglas MacDougall received his undergraduate degree in biology from Central Washington University, in Ellensburg Washington. From there he obtained his dental degree (DMD) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Dentistry in 1989. Upon completing and receiving his dental degree, Dr. MacDougall entered private practice in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Where he maintained and practiced for 31 years. During that time Dr. MacDougall provided dental care to the community with focus on providing comprehensive care and emphasis with Temoromandibular Disorders and Occlusion. In 2020 Dr. MacDougall was appointed Assistant Professor of Oral Health Promotion at Creighton University School of Dentristy, working with students in a clinical setting. In 2023 he transitioned to the department of Prosthodontics with the appointment of Director of Occlusion lecture and preclinical instruction while still maintaining support and mentorship for dental students in the clinical setting.
