Taylor is the Resident Director in McGloin Hall, where she supervises 260+ residents, 9 Resident Advisors, 1 Assistant Resident Director, and a staff of Desk Receptionists. She works with the Resident Directors of Creighton’s 6 other residence halls to create a warm and welcoming community for the students who live on campus through events, programs, and engagement opportunities.
Originally from the Black Hills of South Dakota, Taylor had plans of pursuing a career in Student Affairs after earning her bachelor’s degree from Northern State University but was called to spend over seven years in the youth ministry field. As her time in youth ministry came to an end, she knew it was time to start looking at other possibilities to work with young adults and found Creighton University, a place that felt like home as soon as she had her first interview. Taylor’s wish for all students is that they feel that same sense of comfort and home when they walk through the McGloin doors.
