Dr. Mark D. Essner, Assistant Professor of Endodontics, joined Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2015 following a fifteen-year career in private practice. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Creighton University in 1995 and his D.D.S. from Creighton School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Essner then returned to further his education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received a Certificate in Endodontics in 2011. During his time at Creighton, Dr. Essner has been a welcomed addition to the endodontic faculty and has been recognized by the students for excellence in clinical teaching. Dr. Essner is appreciative for the opportunity to help guide predoctoral students in the specialty of endodontics.
