I attended college later in life and became a nurse after working in food and beverage for 20 years. I started in pediatrics as a bedside nurse and stayed at the bedside for over 15 years. I worked at a teaching hospital and I really enjoyed working with nursing students in which I decided to obtain my Master's degree in education. I began teaching pediatric clinicals as adjuct faculity at Roseman University while I remained at the bedside. I branched out to teaching Fundamentals skills and assessment labs as well as simulation and clinicals. I decided to move to Omaha in August of 2021 to be closer to my family and began working at Creighton University in August of 2021. My goal is to obtain a terminal degree by 2025.
