Interpreting 12-lead ECGs is an important skill for any clinician, although it can be a difficult skill to become comfortable with or even master. This workshop will provide the attendee with the basic skills needed to become more knowledgeable and comfortable in utilizing this important diagnostic tool. This workshop is directed at those uncomfortable with basic 12-lead ECG interpretation, those clinicians who are transitioning into a new role that requires ECG interpretation skills, or for someone wishing for a solid refresher prior to taking PANRE. This is a BASIC workshop, starting at a novice level and quickly moving through a standard process of reviewing 12-lead ECGs and finishing with developing interpreting skills for normal ECGs, bundle branch blocks, fascicular blocks, and addressing common rhythm abnormalities (PAT, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter).. 2024

Topics will include review of basic concepts, and discussion of criteria required to diagnose myocardial infarction, left ventricular hypertrophy, WPW, and AV Blocks followed by hands-on practice to reinforce new knowledge.
