Resumes and Career Correspondence
A strong resume and typically additional professional correspondence (e.g., cover letter) are required for many situations in your career progression: internship and job applications, graduate and professional school applications, volunteer programs, studying abroad, networking, and more. Starting out with a relevant, well-formatted resume will help you as you gain more experience and develop new skills. We encourage you to use one of the following templates for formatting guidance, but feel free to make the document unique. The best resumes use consistent formatting but stand out from the crowd.
