Creighton Cupboard

Essential Support for Our Students

While food insecurity isn’t always noticeable, it’s an issue that impacts a significant number of college students. Creighton Cupboard helps address this issue by providing a range of nonperishable food items, as well as hygiene products, for students at our Omaha campus. It’s supported by Student Life staff and student employees, and it is made possible by support from our partners in Creighton Dining and Creighton Students Union. Creighton Cupboard is located at the Student Health Education and Compliance Office (KFC 225).

Food Insecurity At-a-Glance

The United States Department of Agriculture defines food security levels as shown in the graphic on the right. Creighton Cupboard supports undergraduate, graduate and professional students experiencing any form of food insecurity. If that describes you or someone you know, please submit a request for services.

Food Insecurity Levels

  • Very Low: Multiple indications of disrupted eating and reduced food intake.
  • Low: Reduced quality, variety or desirability of diet.
  • Marginal: Some anxiety over food sufficiency.
  • High: No reported food access problems.

You can shop Creighton Cupboard during our open hours or pick up customized biweekly orders. Orders can be picked up in one of two ways. Either method will require you to provide your Creighton Cupboard ID number, and orders must be picked up within three business days.

  1. Pick up your order at Creighton Cupboard inside the Student Health Education and Compliance office in the Kiewit Fitness Center (KFC 225). We’re down the hall from the Recreation and Wellness front desk.
  2. Pick up your order curbside after receiving an email confirmation about your order. Park on the southside of Kiewit Fitness Center (KFC). The driveway is located between Swanson Hall and KFC. Upon arrival, call 402.546.6979.
