Fitness Facilities

Spaces Built to Support Student Wellness

Creighton’s on-campus recreation facilities make it easy to work a workout into your routine. With two dedicated spaces in different parts of our Omaha campus, fitting wellness into your schedule is simple. Explore our Omaha facilities below, plus find information about the Phoenix workout room.

Additionally, several residence halls offer workout machines and spaces for students living in the halls.

Kiewit Fitness Center (The KFC)

The Kiewit Fitness Center, located on the west side of campus, was recently renovated, nearly tripling the workout space. It features:

  • Over 13,000 square feet of weight/cardio space
  • Two group fitness rooms
  • Two golf simulators
  • Men’s, women’s and family locker rooms
  • Rental and day use lockers
  • Basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball and badminton courts
  • A three-lane running track (6.5 laps/mile)

All students and benefits-eligible faculty and staff can use the KFC at no charge. Non-benefits-eligible employees, employee family members and student family members can use the facility for a fee.

During open rec hours, anyone is welcome to drop in and play a variety of games available on popular platforms like Steam. The lounge offers a fun and flexible environment to enjoy gaming—whether you're playing with fellow Creighton students or connecting with friends from afar.

The Rasmussen Center

The Rasmussen Center, named after Creighton’s McCormack-endowed Athletic Director Bruce Rasmussen, is located on the east side of campus. It features a 60- x 40-yard turf fieldhouse.

All students and benefits-eligible faculty and staff can use the Rasmussen Center at no charge. Non-benefits-eligible employees, employee family members and student family members can use the facility for a fee.
