McGloin Hall is a co-educational residence hall home to 264 freshman and sophomore students. It is located east of 24th St. near the Lied Education Center for the Arts. McGloin consists of suite-style living spaces with 2 bedrooms (2 residents in one bedroom and 3 residents in one bedroom) joined together by a furnished large living room area. Each apartment contains a small refrigerator and microwave, while each floor has a community kitchen. Lounge spaces connect the two wings on each floor, while the basement level has additional social and gaming space. McGloin Market is hosted on the ground level of the building and provides groceries, snack foods, Godfather’s Pizza and pre-packaged meals. The Inter Residence Hall Government office is also housed in McGloin.
For the first-year class, triple rooms are used in McGloin to accommodate students. These larger rooms come fully furnished and offer a 15% discount for all three students. Most triple rooms will share a common living space and a bathroom with their suitemates, who will each receive a 5% discount. This is a common approach among universities with strong residential populations, like Creighton. Students are randomly assigned to this space, but we make every effort to keep students with their preferred roommates.
