Experiential Learning Opportunities

Werner Institute

The Werner Institute is dedicated to the study and advancement of conflict resolution. It helps prepare students to engage differences while resolving conflicts efficiently and humanely.

Law Clinics

The School of Law includes clinics focused on civil disputes, bankruptcy and juvenile justice. They provide real-world experience for students and legal aid for Douglas County residents.

Externships

Externships give you the opportunity to explore career options, apply what you’re learning in real-world settings and create connections with practitioners as you learn from them.

Study Abroad

With our study abroad programs, you can enrich your legal studies while experiencing other cultures and legal systems. We offer programs in Germany, Spain and the Dominican Republic.

Competition Teams

Sharpen your skills—and demonstrate your abilities to employers—by joining a competition team or participating in moot court. Each team is focused on a different area of practice.

Law Journals

Contributing to one of Creighton’s law journals allows you to hone your research, writing and critical thinking skills while informing and educating those in the legal community.
