IMPORTANT: All submissions must be submitted through InfoEd to Sponsored Programs Administration at least five (5) business days before the submission deadline.
Sponsored Programs Administration discourages submitting an electronic application on the deadline day and will not be responsible for successful submission of such an application.
Complete the Notification of Intent to Submit as early as possible in the proposal process; this enables Sponsored Programs Administration to plan for staff availability to assist the Principal Investigator with development, review, and submission of all grants and contracts.
If subcontracting a portion of the project to another organization, forward the Subrecipient Intent Form to the collaborating institution to complete, sign, and return with the required application documents indicated. These documents must be uploaded to the Internal Documents or Attachments tab in InfoEd.
Once the application reaches Sponsored Programs Administration’s queue, we review it for University and sponsor compliance and request any necessary corrections from the PI or administrator.
The InfoEd system will route the application package to the appropriate Chair(s) and Dean(s) and the Associate Vice Provost for Research and Scholarship for review and approval, and will notify the PI or administrator when routing is completed.
If the sponsor requires the application to be submitted electronically by a business official or institutional official, Sponsored Programs Administration will coordinate with the PI to submit.
