Carrying on the tradition of Creighton students before them, the Class of 2024 pushed themselves to grow and make a difference, striving to be people for and with others wherever life took them. Their time as undergrads shaped them into well-rounded, highly skilled individuals—ready to take on whatever comes next.
The Class of 2024 is off to a strong start, according to the latest First Destination Survey from the John P. Fahey Career Center. An impressive 98% of Creighton grads are either employed, continuing their education or serving in volunteer programs within six months of graduating.
These results are based on an 81% knowledge rate—meaning we heard back from 81% of our undergraduate alumni in the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Nursing and Heider College of Business about what they’re up to after graduation.
Over the last decade, Creighton has consistently delivered strong results, with an average outcomes rate of 98.5%. In six of the past nine years, that number hit an outstanding 99%. These high outcomes reflect the way Creighton equips students for life after college—through solid academic support and real-world, hands-on learning experiences.
The First Destination Survey (FDS) showed that 83% of Creighton students take part in an internship or research project during their undergrad years. Through the Center for Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (CURAS), students from any major can actively participate in research. They team up with faculty mentors, contribute to real research, publish in scientific journals and present their work at conferences around the country.
FDS data shows that Class of 2024 graduates are living and working in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and 11 countries—including Argentina, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Japan and more. A number of these Bluejay alumni are continuing their commitment to service by joining volunteer programs, both in the U.S. and abroad. Just as they did during their time at Creighton through the Schlegel Center for Service and Justice, they’re still making a real impact in their communities.
Creighton’s John P. Fahey Career Center helps students navigate career options, land internships and prepare for life after college. And the support doesn’t stop at graduation—the Career Center continues to be a go-to resource for Bluejay alumni, offering networking connections, job opportunities and more as their careers grow and evolve.
