Creighton University School of Medicine students come from all over the United States and beyond and from many different backgrounds, adding depth to our medical school training and preparing students to practice medicine wherever they may be called.

Inspired by our Jesuit values and recognizing that we are a medical school with students of many ages, backgrounds and experiences, we are committed to fostering an academic medicine environment that nurtures a sense of belonging for all.
Of the class of 2029, 15% of students are first-generation college students and 8% come from a community currently underrepresented in medicine.
The average age is 23 and 21 students are 26 and older. The class is 43% male and 57% female.
