The CPHHE-REACH project will:

  • Work in collaboration with agencies within the African-American/Black community to educate, develop, and implement Policies, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) Improvements.

  • Encourage healthier lifestyle choices in order to reduce chronic diseases such as hypertension, high blood pressure, & diabetes in the African-American/Black population of Omaha.

  • Specifically encourage increase of physical activity in African-American/Black churches, public housing sites, middle schools, and in the local community health center and surrounding neighborhood.
