A retreat is about more than taking a break.
When we make a retreat here at Creighton, we intentionally step away from the daily routines of our lives so that we can explore our spiritual lives, grow closer to God and form meaningful relationships with those around us.
In the space and silence that retreats offer, we come to discover new aspects of ourselves, our communities and our relationship with God.
Campus Ministry welcomes all students of all faith backgrounds and experiences to explore our many retreats. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition and facilitated by student leaders, our retreats allow participants to engage in meaningful conversation and build friendships with their Creighton peers.
Freshman retreats are offered once in the fall and once in the spring. These retreats offer first-year students the chance to reflect on the challenges, questions and new opportunities that come with the transition from high school to college.

The Ignatian Silent Retreat invites students to retreat from the noise of everyday life and enter the silence to listen more deeply to God. Steeped in the tradition of Ignatian Spirituality, this retreat will provide intentional spaces for prayer, daily Mass and Reconciliation, conversations with a spiritual companion and time for retreatants to more intentionally listen to God.

The Senior Evening of Reflection is an opportunity for graduating seniors to savor the graces of their time at Creighton. Within this time, seniors will reflect on the people, the places, and where and how they felt God’s presence in their experiences.
