Sandra A. Sasse is an instructor at Creighton University’s College of Nursing with over 20 years of experience in nursing education and clinical practice. She specializes in simulation-based learning, educational best practices, and leadership development. Sandra holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Nursing Administration from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her research focuses on integrating simulation methodologies to enhance nursing education and improve patient outcomes. With a background in transplant coordination, acute care, and infection control, Sandra brings extensive clinical expertise to her teaching. She has contributed to interprofessional education projects and presented at national conferences on nursing education and simulation. She has presented at national and international conferences, including the International Meeting for the Oncology Nursing Society and the Society for Health Care Epidemiologists (SHEA). Her dedication to teaching excellence has been recognized through multiple nominations and awards, including the Daisy Award and the Interprofessional Academy of Educators Induction. Sandra is committed to advancing nursing education by fostering critical thinking and clinical judgment in future healthcare professionals through the use of innovative simulation and classroom techniques.
