Dr. Shelly Luger holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Organizational Leadership and a Certificate in Health Professions Education from The University of Kansas. Dr. Luger is Board Certified as an Advanced Nurse Executive. She serves as the Nursing Administration, Leadership, and Education Track Lead and Director of the Soto Nursing Scholars Program at Creighton University. With extensive experience in nursing leadership and education, Dr. Luger has held several key leadership roles throughout her career. She completed a health policy residency program supported by the Department of Health and Human Services, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. Her current research and project interests focus on leadership simulation, storytelling in leadership, global leadership, and leadership development. Dr. Luger remains dedicated to advancing nursing leadership through education, mentorship, and innovative learning experiences.
