Lindsay Johnson’s career in admissions began as a student worker at Truman State University. She then served as the campus visit coordinator for three years before moving to Nebraska, where she worked at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and later joined Creighton’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. Over the years, Lindsay has enjoyed working with students pursuing health professional programs, graduate programs and adult students completing their bachelor’s degrees.
Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology from Truman State University and a master’s in higher education administration from Drexel University. She has been with Creighton for over 17 years and is the director of Admission. She collaborates with the physical therapy, occupational therapy and pharmacy admission committees. She ensures the smooth evaluation of candidate files, adherence to policy and a seamless orientation and enrollment process for new students.
What Lindsay enjoys most about working with pre-health science students is watching them pursue their dreams and goals. The full-circle moment of seeing students graduate and begin their professional careers is what makes her role so fulfilling.
Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, reading, volunteering at her kids’ schools and traveling in her free time.
