Jessie Richardson

With 20 years of experience in education, Jessie Richardson has worked in early childhood, high school social studies and higher education. Her passion for student development and success has led her to a rewarding career in admissions and recruitment, where she has remained ever since.

Jessie earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Nebraska Omaha. She is currently pursuing a master’s in organizational leadership from Creighton University. Jessie began as associate director of Recruitment for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in 2023.

In her current role, Jessie finds working with students pursuing careers in occupational therapy, physical therapy and pharmacy incredibly rewarding. She is inspired by their compassion, motivation and dedication to making a meaningful impact in healthcare. Jessie enjoys witnessing their excitement as they take the next steps in their careers, knowing that Creighton will help shape their futures.

Outside of work, Jessie enjoys reading, mainly historical fiction and fantasy, going on walks with her 12-year-old pup, Ellie, gardening and watching sporting events, including football, volleyball and hockey.
