Jamie Beck, MSN, RN, OCN, is an Instructor at Creighton University College of Nursing. Her research focuses on enhancing clinical judgment and preparedness in novice nurses, with an emphasis on rural health and interprofessional education. She holds an MSN in Nursing Education from Bryan College of Health Sciences. With specialized experience in oncology, critical care, and rural health, she has contributed to initiatives aimed at increasing meaningful educational opportunities for undergraduate nursing students and improving nursing workforce retention. Beck leads the Rural Health Initiative, supporting clinical placements in critical access hospitals. Recognized for her commitment to education, she has received multiple CUCON Teaching Excellence Awards for both classroom and clinical instruction. Through her work, she strives to bridge gaps in nursing education and workforce sustainability, ensuring high-quality care in diverse healthcare settings.
