The department of Education at Creighton University invites applications for two full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor positions specializing in Counseling. We seek individuals committed to being outstanding teacher-scholars. The positions are 11-month appointments beginning in the Fall of 2026 and will have a 3-3-1 teaching load. Successful candidates will have completed their PhD in counseling education from a CACREP accredited institution and have had teaching and/or clinical experience. Candidates with a record of successful publications (e.g., peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters, professional conference attendance and grants) and those who demonstrate a commitment to the broader field of counseling education through a knowledge of the Jesuit mission of Creighton University are preferred. Prior face to face and online teaching experience at the college level is also valuable. The candidates will teach on-campus and online courses for our counseling program offering both foundations courses in school and mental health counseling.
