"By working with DREAM Scholars, I was able to provide mentorship to the children at Howard Kennedy. Prior to this, I expected this to just be a weekly chance to volunteer. However, after my time, I truly see how much I have gotten out of it. By giving back to the Omaha community, I felt myself grow in my faith. I found a better understanding of what it meant to love my neighbor as myself. All too often we believe we are too busy to do something for someone outside our inner circle. This belief can make us close-minded and doesn't allow us to grown in our love for others within our community. DREAM Scholars has provided me with a greater appreciate for the Omaha area and a desire to make it better for all."

Katelyn’s Service Experience at Completely Kids

Katelyn Grzelak’s involvement with Completely Kids provided her with the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many elementary aged children.

“Creighton makes volunteering super easy,” she says, “they provide transportation, and you can count on it every week!”
