The Global Engagement Office’s mission is to promote global learning in order to enhance Creighton University’s capacity to serve in solidarity with neighbors and nations. We aim to cultivate openness, compassion, expertise, innovation, and a commitment to equitable partnerships. This effort addresses the complex challenges of today and explores potential opportunities for the future at local, national, and international levels. Our goal is to foster a hope-filled, collaborative environment where the entire university community is engaged in these efforts, contributing to and shaping our impact globally.
Global learning is a critical analysis of and engagement with complex, interdependent global systems and legacies (such as natural, physical, social, cultural, economic, and political) and their implications for people’s lives and the earth’s sustainability.
