Add to Calendar 20241029T193000Z 20241029T203000Z America/Chicago 2024 Ross Horning Lecture: National Book Award-winner Timothy Egan <p>The Department of History at Creighton University welcomes faculty, staff, students and the community to its 2024 Ross Horning Lecture featuring Timothy Egan as he presents "The Only Thing New in This World is the History You Do Not Know."</p><p>When asked about the title of his talk, Egan says, "It's a quote from Harry Truman and goes to my talk on how the Ku Klux Klan nearly took over America a hundred years ago this year, based on my book, <a href="https://www.timothyeganbooks.com/afeverintheheartland" target="_blank"><em>A FEVER IN THE HEARTLAND</em></a>.
