Dr. Trina Walker, DNP, APRN, FNP-C obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009 and spent her days a registered nurse working in traditional and specialized cardiovascular care.
In 2016, she graduated from Creighton University with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Family Practice. She continued to work with a variety of cardiovascular patients as a nurse practitioner.
In 2018, she moved into family practice where she managed a large group of patients with multiple comorbidities and focused on preventative health care.
She returned to her alma mater, Creighton University, in January 2020 as an assistant professor in the Family Nurse Pracitioner graduate program.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, the great outdoors, and traveling.
