AIR Purpose and Direction

Mission Statement

The mission of Analytics and Institutional Research (AIR) is to build and sustain a culture of data-informed decision-making by collaborating with institutional stakeholders to support student success and the mission of Creighton University.   

Vision Statement

The vision of Analytics and Institutional Research is to be a trusted and experienced partner and leader of Creighton University data that empowers stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.

      Department Goals

      1. Build and lead a sustainable, collaborative data governance process focused on improving data literacy, data quality, and standard university data processes.   
      2. Improve transparency and awareness of Analytics and Institutional Research by communicating regularly, expanding available community resources, and publishing university data.   
      3. Partner with campus stakeholders to effectively support informed decision making by providing accurate, consistent, thorough, and timely data and analysis.
      4. Increase capacity to meet campus needs by assessing priorities and workload, utilizing existing resources, and cultivating a highly skilled and knowledgeable team.
