For decades, Creighton has celebrated Christmas with many beloved traditions — concerts, carols, holiday Masses, volunteering with local charities, and the annual lighting of the Christmas tree and Mall.
Every fall, we put the brakes on the regularly scheduled programming at Skutt Student Center—in order to introduce you to new interests, new people and new passions. It’s the annual Skutt Shutdown, our interactive involvement fair.
Since 1959 the Hui O Hawaii Club has hosed a popular campus celebration to recognize Hawaii’s statehood. The annual Lūʻau showcases Hawaiian entertainment and foods.
A cornerstone during Founders Week, the Interfaith Prayer Service brings together students, faculty and staff from many faith and spiritual traditions in an inspiring celebration of the diversity of religious cultures.
We are the Bluejays, and we’re quite proud of our 14 Division I teams: baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, volleyball and tennis. Students break national attendance records when they cheer on their fellow student-athletes at athletic venues on and off campus.
Welcome Week earned its name in 1955 and has grown to over a week bursting with Creighton spirit. Move-in Weekend kicks off the formative experience, which includes many fun activities to meet people, learn about Creighton and settle into campus!
The Creighton Pathway, an event where new students, all dressed in blue Creighton shirts, gather at St. John’s Church then walk down the mall to tap the beak of the Billy Bluejay statue at Morrison Stadium—the unofficial welcome to the University.
The fan-favorite Lip Sync event is an opportunity for the fraternity and sorority community to introduce itself to the newest members of the Creighton community.
The week also includes the Getting Blue BBQ, a Paint Party, Mass and so much more.
