Since 1947, at the very first “Week of Welcome for Freshmen,” Creighton has provided orientation and welcome sessions for its newest students. Today, our mission is to help New Jays with their transition into the Creighton community. We empower students and families with the skills, knowledge, and resources to be successful at Creighton academically, socially, spiritually, and recreationally.
Meet your future classmates and professors and preview what’s to come in the fall during this summer orientation program for you and your family.
Move in to your residence hall and join us for a day-long celebration. Then, engage in a week full of fun activities, new friendships, and learning about all Creighton has to offer.
Transferring to Creighton in the spring? Make sure to attend Transfer Orientation. This student-only orientation will put you face-to-face with important campus representatives.
Each year, we choose an orientation theme that embodies our Jesuit values and encourages our new students. You’ll see Jesuit values put into action in the interactions between our students, faculty and staff, and you’ll be challenged to engage intentionally with new opportunities.
