This is a community for the curious. At Creighton, we’re conducting research that moves big ideas forward, and our undergraduate students play a hands-on role.
Here, you can be involved in research as early as freshman year. Creighton's undergraduate research opportunity program is open to all majors, from business to biology to journalism. Here, students drive research projects, get published, present at conferences across the U.S. and gain real-world experience.
When you take part in an undergraduate research program, you’ll put what you’ve learned in the classroom to use and gain skills that will help you grow. Sharpen your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Practice your leadership skills. Take your knowledge to the next level.
Creighton awards undergraduate researchers more than 40 funded summer fellowships. Most of these summer research programs for undergraduates are funded by Creighton, while six are funded by a National Institutes of Health INBRE (IDeA Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence) grant. Dozens of other paid opportunities exist through external grants obtained by faculty members across different colleges at Creighton.
